Alan graduated from UCLA in 2001 and initially went into teaching middle and high school mathematics and physical education. Although he enjoyed teaching, he became more and more intrigued by physical therapy and the incredible opportunity to aid in the healing of movement dysfunctions and so he decided to return to school and pursue a career in physical therapy. He has treated athletes from the weekend warrior variety to the professional level in a variety of sports. In his spare time, Alan enjoys working out at the park, playing sports, and spending time with his wife and playing silly games with his little daughter.
