Alison Scheid (formerly Alison Brown) received her B.A. in Integrative Biology from UC Berkeley. She expanded her biology focus to include a minor in Nutritional Sciences. Alison was an undergraduate instructor in the Anatomy lab while at Cal and worked in the athletic training room with many different contact and non-contact sports. She then completed the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at USC.
Alison has worked on an imaging-based study of the lumbar spine that has been accepted for publication in 2009. In addition, she contributed to a physical therapy textbook focusing on different hip disorders, which is being published in 2009 as well. Alison enjoys teaching at the University of Southern California as part of the Adjunct Faculty. She earned her Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy after graduating from the USC Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program.
Currently, Alison enjoys treating patients of all ages and aspirations. On her own, she enjoys hiking and taking yoga classes and has helped many patients return to their own successful yoga and dance practices.
